Nestled in the Heart of Ashland, Oregon.

||This is the main house and workplace at Chakra Garden. The open-plan 3bdrm/2bth/2-story layout provides an office and class space, as well as living quarters for your hosts, Dr. Zeb Lancaster & Candace Cave. Occasionally, in the summer, we rent the entire building to groups up to 8-guests. Please phone Candance for more information.
A signature vintage property as you near downtown Ashland from the north, Chakra Sancturary is part of the history of the area. The first deed for the land with building was recorded in 1884 by Mr. Payne; the upstairs and front porch were added by Mr. Penter in 1907. We purchased the house and 0.4 acre property at end of 2010.
An elegant, simple, Zen-type atmosphere inspires privacy & contemplation. Lhasa House was designed as a spacious studio, with elegant bathroom, large dressing/entry area, and small kitchenette. The main room has a queen bed & queen sofa-bed, and sleeps up to 4-guests.
Built as a mechanics garage in the 1930s, we found Lhasa
House a burned out shell. You'll find that it's now 400 sq ft of modern, comfortable, open space with views of Grizzly Peak. Lhasa House has it's own street entrance, as well as a door into the gardens.
A romantic, fabric draped environment supports communion with yourself and/or another. Temple House offers 2-rooms, a spacious kitchenette, wonderful lighting options, and garden views.
Built as the property's carriage house when Mr Penter added the upstairs to the main building in 1907, we found dirt floors and broken windows in Temple House. You'll now
find 450 sq ft separated into two rooms offering you sprawling comfort and modern convenience.
This compact, tidy single room building is just right for one person, perhaps too intimate for two. Arbor Studio offers a cozy retreat space of the economy minded.
Newly erected in 2012 as a gardener's cottage, the Arbor is designed as a "tiny house." You'll find an open studio plan with fewer than 200 sq ft of floor space, nestled
under a grandmother grapevine that looks out into our large, beautiful healing garden.
Homestead Cottage offers forest-quiet, a fully equipped kitchen, spacious accommodations (1150 sq ft sleeps up to 8 people in 2-rooms), plus opportunity for canine companionship and private meditation retreats.
Located at the end of a long valley off the road from Ashland to Jacksonville, you’ll find yourself on 60-acres
bordering BLM land, 17-miles northwest of Ashland (25-minute drive). Built in 2000, Homestead Cottage was the first live-able building on the property since 1909, although the land has been in the family since the 1880s.
